More than 100 Games Added to Online Casino Roster in 2010
Virgin has entered a partnership deal with online gaming software and technology providers Playtech, Gaming Technology Solutions. Playtech offers cutting-edge software to operators in the gaming industry and its top games include the likes of Call of Duty 4, Monopoly Multiplier and Play Your Cards Right.
Chief Executive, Simon Burridge said, "We've all been working hard over the last two years to make the leap from what was essentially a games marketing business to becoming a fully fledged operator. We now have a bespoke built platform capable of bringing on the best games from a multitude of providers, making us one of the most diverse online gaming companies in the UK market.”
The new Virgin Casino EdGE platform will lead to an exponential growth in the number of games offered to players. The platform has been developed in collaboration with Gaming Technology Solutions (GTS), who are experts in cross-platform technology.
Warren Eloff, Product Manager at Virgin Casino said that the EdGE platform allowed the casino easy access to the best gaming suppliers in the business. Partnering with GTS to help develop their product offering, therefore made perfect sense.
“We plan to roll out over 100 games this year and among them will be some top brand names, providing our customers with sophisticated and exciting games that they have come to expect from us. With all these new games we will have one of the best casinos available online," he said.
Already Virgin offers games from a growing selection of online gaming software providers such as WagerWorks, Cryptologic, Freemantle, Endemol, Dynamite Idea, VS Gaming and Ash Gaming.
