A.J Green, A Cornerstone For Georgia Bulldog Football Betting Lines In 2010

Georgia will start red-shirt freshman quarterback Aaron Murray this year, opening at home against Louisiana LaFayette on Saturday.  Murray is a highly touted recruit, possessing a big arm, but the lack of experience is no doubt a cause for concern among the Bulldog faithful.  Still, the expectations for Green to have yet another big year are there.

Last season, Green caught 53 balls for 808 yards and six touchdowns in nine games.  He was injured for part of the season, when did not step foot on the field for three of the Bulldogs’ final four games.

Green comes into 2010 healthy, and eager to take on the difficult Southeastern Conference defenses.  As such, USA Online Sportsbooks have constructed betting lines for Green, and the number of touchdown receptions that he will have in the regular season.

0- 2 TDs     +2000
3 – 4 TDs     +1500
5 – 6 TDs     +1000
7 – 8 TDs     +700
9 – 10 TDs     +500
11 – 12 TDs     +400
13 – 14 TDs     +400
15 – 16 TDs     +500
17 – 18 TDs     +500
19 – 20 TDs     +700
21 or More TDs     +450

Green is a cornerstone piece to Georgia’s expectations this season, after a disappointing 8-5 campaign in 2009.  Many are predicting the Bulldogs to contend for the SEC East division along with Florida, and the SEC Conference Championship. If they are to make a run at the SEC, Green will play a factor in that determination.
